SR Ep. 6: Jersey Girl

This week on ScreenRun, The Lady Wan and Chris Scalzo tackle the first film outside of the View Askew universe.  That’s right, it’s ‘Jersey Girl’!  We couldn’t have planned it better as Hollywood is being rocked the potential reunion of J-Lo and Ben Affleck.  Could Bennifer truly live?  Some think that the whole Bennifer/Gigli thing torpedoed the film, but was it a disaster for before the public’s heal turn against one of the truly ‘It’ couples of the past 30 years?  And how does Smith balance the pathos and dick jokes?  Is ‘Jersey Girl’ an unsung, misunderstood triumph for Kevin Smith?  Or were we all correct the first time?  Listen on to find out…
